Karori Karnival

For over 30 years, Karori Lions have put on a summer gala (for several years, now, called Karnival) in either February or March. It has usually been held on Ben Burn Park and attracts a few thousand visitors who enjoy the entertainment in the sun (we've only been rained off twice) and patronise the many craft, food and other stalls. The children are able to have rides on the various activities there for them.

Here are some photos, taken by Lion Trevor Anders, from the 2002 Karnival:

We generally have about 30 stalls of various types at our Karnival, but there is always room for more. If you have a stall that you would like to bring to our next event please contact the Webmaster who will pass your interest to the Karnival Organizing committee so that you can be sent a Stallholder Application Form.
