As we start a new Lions year, membership is, once again, at the forefront of many of our minds. The Lions Club of Karori needs to exceed its membership recruitment of last year if we are retain the high level of activity to which we are accustomed. We recognise that we are not alone in wanting to boost membership and so we have decided to devote a page of our web site to membership issues, especially for Clubs in our Zone (202H - Zone 3) - but all others are cordially invited to contribute also.
Below are the names and contact details for the Membership Directors of the Clubs in our Zone. They will be endeavouring to keep in close contact with each other and will welcome the input of anyone visiting this page and who might be moved to send us your wisdom in these matters. Those Membership Directors that have email will appear as underlined names and simply clicking on their names will bring an email "compose" form onto your screen.
Depending on the response to this page, we shall consider posting (extracts of) contributions or other items that may be relevant to membership matters.

Some aspects of Club membership are best discussed rather more privately than on a web page. With this in mind I have established a Private Lions membership "club" within the framework of Yahoo! Clubs. Here, postings can concentrate on the more sensitive issues and there is the opportunity to take part in on-line chat sessions. Anyone wishing to be a member of this "club" should email me and I will send you a formal invitation to join. Please take note that, in the case of anyone I don't know personally, I shall check on your credentials as the appropriate person to discuss membership matters in your club before posting the invitation.
